Repairs & Spare Parts

Overview

We supply a full 12 months repair and spare parts warranty (In accordance with the manufacturers terms and conditions) for all the power, gas & air tools we sell, with some of the manufacturers extending this warranty, by registering online. This service is done by repair agents that are authorized by each manufacturer, and who we have reached a pricing agreement with.

Charges & Estimates

For those power, air & gas tools that are outside warranty, we can provide the customer with a repair estimate first at a charge of €30.00 incl vat. (€50.00 incl vat for table and chopsaws). We cost the repair, notify the customer, who then decides if they wish to proceed with the repair. If they do not proceed, for any reason, the €30/€50 is non-refundable, and the tool will be returned dissembled (it cannot be re-assembled and returned, as it would fail a PAT test which is needed for repair insurance). If the customer decides that they wish to buy a new model from us instead, we will deduct this €30/€50 from the price of a new machine. This service is not available online at the moment, only at our trade counter or by phone.

Do I have to deliver and collect the tool?

No, we can collect and return the tool to you, once there’s someone at your premises during working hours, for a charge of € 14.00 + vat (€ 7.00 + vat collection and €7.00 + vat delivery charge).

What if I want to repair it myself, and want to buy the spare parts?

We can supply most spare parts for European models (some American models) for the major industrial brands. We do this by supplying you with the parts sheet for the specific model, and quoting for the specific parts you pick. These must be pre-paid, and once ordered cannot be returned, for any reason.
